Weaver, Williams, and Perrin Win Rounds 7 and 8 at Sonoma Raceway
July 6th, 2017
Sonoma, CA
This past weekend the Formula Car Challenge presented by Goodyear returned home to where the series was born. Racing inside of the San Francisco Region's group two class that featured over 40 cars was a challenge for all the drivers. "Many of our race events feature exclusive time, and smaller fields," noted Series Official Ben Hettema. "Events like this one make the teams work harder on strategy, and the drivers work harder on their passing skills. A lot of lessons were learned and a lot were taught this weekend." Getting clean laps during qualifying was one of the hurdles presented, but some of the usual suspects still ended up on the top of the time charts.
