Sonoma, California
The Formula Car Challenge presented by Goodyear announced the 2018 schedule today. The series will race this upcoming season at Portland International Raceway, Buttonwillow Raceway Park, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, Willow Springs International Raceway, Thunderhill Raceway Park, and Sonoma Raceway.
"As has been the model since the series inception, a majority of our events will feature exclusive track time for our drivers," stated FCC Series Official Ben Hettema. "We have also focused the schedule around qualifying for the 2018 SCCA Runoffs which take place in October at Sonoma Raceway. The first ten races of our regular season are SCCA Majors events, and the January Winter Series double-header is a Majors event as well."
Racers have already started testing for the 2018 FCC season, and the next race on the FCC calendar is the opening weekend of the 2018 Winter Series Championships at Auto Club Speedway in Southern California in January.
