FCC competitor Christian Okpysh secured the 2023 Formula Mazda class championship this past weekend at Thunderhill Raceway Park. Okpysh was vice-champion in 2022, and battled all season to secure his first Formula Car Challenge presented by Goodyear Championship.
Okypysh competed in 10 races, secured 4 race wins, and 9 podiums in his quest for the FM crown.
The Top Five in in this season’s championship were:

- 2nd – Brad Drew
- 3rd – CJ Ray
- 4th – Bill Weaver
- 5th – Lars Jensen
